Aged to perfection(fiances bday photoshoot)

My fiances birthday was monday, so we have had a long weekend of enjoying ourselves! saturday night we went out on the town with friends and partied the night away, then monday we went cruising in the old shortbox and spent all day together(as well as picking up a friend in the afternoon) and just enjoyed the time cruising and taking pictures.

just some random assortment of shots. enjoy

No _Rice,

those pics are awesome! You really have a knack for that; it looks like they were taken by a professional photographer.

Also, the girls are a really nice touch, it took me a while to find the truck! kidding.

keep up the good work!

Re: Aged to perfection(fiances bday photoshoot)

thanks, i have had plenty of people tell me i should get more into photography. its the same way with building things, i just see something in my head and run with it. i just enjoy it, and she loves being a model for me! actually, my living is provided by my employment at a motorcycle shop... lol. she is also very supportive of my hobbies(many motorcycles, cars, trucks, and my addiction to extreme activities! as well as partaking in most of them. she likes to go fast had/has her own motorcycles. as long as my share of our live together(half of bills ect) is paid for, i can buy/sell, or work on whatever i please, with no complaints

today we have also been engaged for 3 years(together for 8-9). we have both been married before(she has an 11 year old son and i a 13 year old daughter) so are not in a bind to go after the paper end of things, but someday it may happen.

from saturday night... im one very happy and lucky S.O.B.

After the first 3-4 pics I was beginning to wonder if she was shy.Looks like a great Fiance' and a fun time.Make sure you do things like this often, you never know when it will be the last time.Keep taking pics, you've got an eye for it.

Re: Aged to perfection(fiances bday photoshoot)

she can be somewhat shy... but it more boils down to finding pictures where she is actually happy with her smile(the unplanned, laughing happy smiles are always the best. and also ones where she isnt subconsciously biting her bottom lip! lmao) but alot of the ones that look more natural, is because they are natural... as she was just looking around and enjoying the beauty(she loves the outdoors) and forgetting that i was snapping pictures, hence me catching her looking at something instead of the camera.

she sure makes my old ratty truck look something special!!!

and this is just a sampling of pictures... took over 900...

there are plenty of days i take off on one of the motorcycles and ride whatever direction, stop and take a few quick pictures, ride some more, and stop to take more pics... and so on as i wander around.

Hey no-rice..... Is the truck a '70? I have the exact same patina on the hood of mine. My white roof survived a lot better than the blue too. Must have been something about that batch of paint they used....

Great pics- you have a really good eye for composition.

I seem to remember issues with primer back in the early 70's. that was a lot of years and even more brain cells ago.
