Need a lil more info...

Ok guy, I read the FAQ on converting to 6-lug discs using GM stuff

I just have a couple of questions I didn't see answered for definate

#1 can I use any 3/4T lower A-arm from 67-87 (I understand the steering stop differences)

#2 Is there a difference between 3/4T & 1T 67-72 lower A-arms ???

#3 is there a difference between 73-87 3/4T spindles & 88-98 3/4T spindles ???

I have a buddy with some 67-72 1T lower A-arms & want to know if those are the same as the 3/4T, so I could use them for the conversion

I just need to know all my options, cuz I'm limited on 88-98 parts around here

Thanks, Matt

I haven't done the swap yet but I plan to, so I will try to answer your questions to the best of my understanding of the thread in the FAQ and my personal research.

#1 to the best of my knowledge, yes

#2 I can't say for sure but I'd say yes. I do know that the 3/4T and 1T lowers are the same from '73-'87

#3 AFAIK yes....the 1/2T and the light duty 3/4T (6 lug) spindles from '88-'98are the same. Also the wheel bearings are the same as the '73-'87 1/2T and the '88-'98 6 lug rotors will physically fit but they won't line up with the caliper.

Hope I've been able to help
