bought another crew today

Closed the deal on this beauty today, 1980 GMC sierra classic 35 4x4. Its been sitting there for about 4-5 years. im guna fix her up. shes just a shell really right now. No motor or trans no rear end or front end. guna throw my 454 in her for now. Have to get a 4x4 trans and transfercase. My buddy is going to pick me up a dana 60 for 550 in 2 weeks from someone he knows and go threw it for me. hope to have her on the road pretty quick. the body is real straight tailgate is a little messed up, already has a gooseneck nice 2 peice running boards and if everything goes as planned she should be here saturday so i will up load more pictures then.

I'm afraid you truck is missing a very important thing. Wheels.....

Great looking truck! IMO you need to get rid of the running boards though.

Re: bought another crew today

Got my d60 finally now how to go threw it. Already has warn locking hubs. Also bought a set of 19.5 wheels for it. Anybody know where i can find some steel inners? Still deciding how much lift to do. I'm thing a 4 inch skyjacker and running 8r19.5s which is around 34 inch tire. Got a rebuilt np205 on the way and a transmission adapter. As soon as I get it back on the ground it's time to drop the 454 in and get her runnin. I will upload pics of the d60 and wheels in a little while

Re: bought another crew today

I got them at a swap meet. They are American eagle wheels. Normally 1200$ or so. I bought mine for 900 cause one of them is scratch really bad but it's a rear wheels and it's on the side facing in.
