I found a bunch of wide pipe wrap on ebay that I used in my chevelle, it had a foam layer with adhesive on one side and aluminum on the other. It is also good for insulation for heat.
This car has an x-pipe with straight-through style mufflers that dump right before the axle, and it is remarkably quiet in the cab.

Yeah found some. It wasn't this kind exactly but this is similar:

FatMat is very good and priced reasonably. IMO it is better than Dynamat.

I've mentioned it in this site before: I followed that FAQ on the Peel-&-Seal and I thought the stuff was very ineffective. I would not use it again. It also SUCKED to get off.
Next time I'll go with a real sound deadener... my .02 |
