Suburban CArgo Area

Has anyone done anything special with the cargo area on your suburbans? I was thinking of some nice birch on the floor, stained, and cleared, for a different look. Post any cargo area pics or suggestions. Thanks.

Hey Greg,

It was nice to meet you today. Glad you made it home safe. did they guy call you about the bike?

I got the front seats in just for a trial run. I will fab up all the brackets at the shop on Mon.

funny I was thinking the same thing about the cargo area. one consideration that Stan at ECE was telling me is that the one piece of plywood is stronger than using slats like in a pickup bed, so if you do it, put the plywood in first, the maybe a wood overlay...

Somebody here once suggested King Starboard to replace the plywood. Strong and more waterproof:

I think a good Marine Ply wood with cherry wood floor on top of it Like i have in my living room wood look great it would give it the clasic wood look but would be a sold smoth serfice.

Nice to meet you and your brother too. Yea made it home safe and the guy came and picked up the bike around 5:00. Glad to see your making good progress on the seats. Post some pics when you get them mounted.
