Re: RC truck
Cool body. I have a couple of those.
Here is one I'm working on. Haven't done much to it in awhile but plans are to paint it like my 71 truck. Look here and you can see more of this type of stuff. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=254260

Re: RC truck
You can get the truck itself built RTR (ready to run), but I haven't seen one with the Chevrolet truck body on it unless it was a custom built truck. Be ready to pay some big $$$ for a custom built one.

Most of the time, the kit only comes with the car and that's it. You will need to buy the control and servo's seperate. The other "bummer" part is, you put it all together, I mean every little thing including the little a-arms, shocks...everything. You can have them build it for you but that's a few hundred bucks on top of buying the car. Just an idea, I paid 1k for mine but I upgraded the speed control and remote, but I put it together myself. (this was quite a few years ago) The fun one's are gas powered and stupid fast...... check this out, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urJn3...layer_embedded

Re: RC truck
In both vids the chassis is an Axial AX10 rockcrawler. The body is a lexan one from Proline in either long or short wheelbase. They also make a 1980 K10 and 1980 K5 Blazer. There are many chassis available for any of these bodies. I am building the 80 K10 on Tamiya's F350 Chassis. I like that chassis because it is a leaf spring, live axle truck. Very realistic. You can find any of this stuff at local hobby shops or at any of the online ones. suggest getting to know your local shop if you are just getting into the hobby. You will find a lot of knowledge there.

Re: RC truck
HPI Racing has some that are pre-built for like $399, and the Savage is one tough little truck.
bigblock73, what's the starting platform on the "lowered" '73 (white)?

Re: RC truck
I posted this one up a few days ago after i painted it, but here it is again. This truck is a Traxxass "Stampede" --- and is about as entry level as the things get as far as price goes. $160 for the complete truck and radio, plus another $100 for 2 batteries and a charger(what i paid -- you can pay more or less). Extra body was $25 plus some paint and time
I do have a nitro truck like Chip's (not as pretty as Chip's) and they are fast as scalded cats , but the electric ones definitely have their advantages. Roll the full sized trucks out of the garage and set some ramps up for winter time fun
