Moving my cab around the garage

I purchased a truck today. It’s a 1972 SWB in need of a lot of work. I want to pull the cab and box off from the chassis so that I can concentrate on one piece at a time. However, my garage is quite small. The box is basically garbage, so I can leave that outside, but the cab is salvageable. I want to be able to move the cab around my garage as needed while I get the chassis ready. What is the best method to make the cab moveable while off the chassis? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

another thing i use is car dollies....set some cushions on the rocker pinch welds and set the cab on 2 dollies, works great..

Re: Moving my cab around the garage

i just built a cab dolly out of 2x6's and 4x4's this weekend and the cab is sitting on it now.....i spent less than 100 all together to make it and the cab sits up high so it'll be easier to work on rockers, cab corners, and the floor. pm me and i'll give you the details, im at work right now so i can't type it all out! later

Re: Moving my cab around the garage

I put a 2 x 12 board in the cab between the doors and clamp it to a cherry picker.
