hello all, I am looking to either find a viable source for the aluminum trim that goes directly under the windows, or weld the holes up and go on with my build. any ideas? thanks for your time in advance. mike in oklahoma

AFAIK, it is not reproduced.

It wasn't that long ago a member here said they were going to remove the trim on their truck.

They didn't like the look.

Otherwise the for sale section has Suburbans being parted out. There was one a couple months ago that had clean moldings.

I have the whole trim and don't like the look, but I am not really ready to remove it yet. On top of a business trip(s) and then getting sick during, the burb still isn't back together so I can drive it. At the earliest, I wouldn't be able to remove before that. You're not allowed to use the board for purchasing until you become a premium member

He can't post a "Wanted to buy" but if he finds a set for sale in the Blazer & Suburban Stuff classifieds he can buy them.

hello all, thanks for the information everyone. I wasn't placing a want to buy, I was asking where to get it, like if lmc or brothers or any vendors sold it. I of coarse would be interested in a good used set too, but that wasn't the intention of the post. thank you all tho. happy motoring from mike in oklahoma.

I think I pretty much know the answer already is no based on the searches I've done, but thought I'd jump in as long as this thread is here.

I have a set of trim, but not the clips. I'm pretty sure no one reproduces them, but has anyone had any luck making some kind of other clip work?

i have not found anything on the trim or clips. if I don't find a trim set I will either build my own out of 6061 flat stock and soften the corners on the truck side or weld the holes shut.

I thought the clips for this trim were the same as the clips for the upper truck trim?

I am interested in a complete set of used trim. Have you been able to remove it yet? What are you looking to get for it?
