? for those using late model boosters

The pushrod seems about an inch shy of reaching the pedal.

How did you modify the pedal/pushrod to make it work?
Pics would be great too.

thanks for the link Krue, but after looking at the thread, it looks like my pushrod is non-adjustable. I wish it was that easy.

That's the same as the one I just installed and it had an adjustable rod, it's out of an 83. If you know someone who can weld then cut and extend it.

yeah, I've been searchin the 67-72 board and it seems everyone else also had adjustable pushrods, except for a couple. I think I got it off an even later model, like a 86 or 87. RM72Chevy got his off a 88, so he'll probably run into the same problem.

Don't own or know anyone who has a welder.

Maybe I'll try the 67-72 board and see what they say.

Go to the salvage yard and get an adjustable rod. Dont see why that wouldnt work.

The rod doesn't seem to come out of the booster like the earlier ones.
