I've never seen one of these. Exact same as expansion tanks only an overflow instead. Personally I like the idea better, because seems the expansion hose rubs the high horn connect if by the book.

How was that tank mounted? Is it that clamp to the core support reinforcement (i.e., vertical rail)? Stock?

Yes the tank was mounted on the driver side of the radiator on the core support, Just had the one bolt holding it there. Everything else on the truck that I parted had not been touched so yes I believe it was factory.
