Im looking at this vintage air 67-72 surefit ac system

Anyone ever use this kit, if so any advice or problems with it:

i put the vintage air kit in my truck last year. i love it and works well. the kit was not that bad to install and has decent instructions.

I have one. It works pretty good, install was easy. Only issue I have but not really anyones fault, is that it just cant keep my truck cool in the 105 plus temps were having in Texas.

Its a great kit have installed it my old 72 that had factory air and currently have one in my 68 without factory air. I also added a trinary switch and an Old Air electric fan setup. It actually blows colder than my dodge magnum. The only small issue is the black plastic firewall cover you get some engine noise and wind noise from the thin plastic cover. If I ever get around to it I'll weld up the firewall and seal it up good. But all in all it's a great system.

We are a Dealer for Vintage air and have great deals for all the members on this site.
We have sold several kits to members on here and they have been all very happy on how the kit works in there truck.Vintage air is the only way to go PERIOD.

I liked the setup first time I saw it too...planned on a custom metal substitute for the ABS cover maybe with a "hidden" bulkhead connector as my only change, something I'd have to do with any choice.

Anyone tried making a cover with a small gap between it and the holes in the firewall so fresh air still flows before?

Should make sure that any reader knows "I'm not at that point...YET" but have put cobbled up AC systems in alternative tinkerings. Not gonna do that again.
