Frame help

I am looking to buy a new frame for my 1972 c10 SWB and I have found one but the guy does not know what year it is. Does any one know if there are any differences in the frames between 67-72 or how to adentify what year it is from.

Re: Frame help

The 67-68 frames have different radiator support mounts, the 67 doesn't have a dent in the frame rail for a power steering box. I guess the best way is to decipher the V.I.N. There is one located on the top of the driver's frame rail just above where the steering box mounts.

The first no. stamped into the frame is the yr no. 7=67, 8=68, 0=70 etc . It is stamped in two places, By steering box as mentioned and on top of the frame in the area that would be below the driver door.
Hope that helps Paul
