Repop Burb bodies
Hey, I'm fairly new to the forums but I've had grandads 68 chev C20 camper custom since I was young. Grandpa bought new off the lot back then and the truck has been passed to me. Started many restos on it but now with a family of 5 a standard cab classic truck is not really conducive to hauling everyone to a car show or drive-in. I'm toying with the idea of dropping a 'burban body on the frame. Does anyone out there make a repop suburban body like they do with the truck cabs? I'm hoping for pre 67, like 65 or 66. Maybe I'm stuck looking for a barn find? Thanks for reading!

Re: Repop Burb bodies
Ive never heard of one. But if you search on Craigslist in San Diego Ca, there is a guy that dismantles old burbs and panels for parts. You could see if he has a solid body. Shipping to WA would probably be less than you may think. My sister shipped a 60 Dodge truck for $700 from WA to Ca.
Here he is: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/ssd/pts/4576819030.html |

Greg, good luck. Be sure to take a lot of pictures, and share them here.
