Re: I want more pics of this truck!

I'm digging the '59 Cadillac batwing air cleaner!

the color "kind of" reminds me of a '65-'66 GM truck color. pops had one about that exact color. nice, regardless.......

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

I think that is Joels truck if it is from Texas. If so,it has been built for at least 10 years. It use to be 2 tone. He is from Houston area. Some of his friends are on this forum. It was at Good Guys in Dallas last 2-3 years. Had some old school blue rims and small caps on it.

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

Doug the repops are every bit as nice as the OE and already set up for a dry element 4"X14", the OE was oil bath and converting one is somewhat involved I did that before these were available I wouldnt go that route again with these available and theyre black satin powder coated too! All in all they are a very nice alternative to the OE I'm hoping I have the clearance on my BBC (Cad) with the Edelbrock intake its gunna be close!

Hey thanks for digging those up Clos. I have been admiring that ride for a good while and only have seen one shot of it. It's every bit as nice as I thought it would be.

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

Thanks for the compliments guys. This was my first truck, have owned it for over 20 years. The color is a PPG Turquoise. I'm in the process of building a 72 Blazer rodster, frame is done. I just bought my son his first truck, a 70 GMC short wide truck.

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

Well hey Joel is it? Let me be the first to welcome you aboard. One snap of your truck got posted up here last summer from a member who'd been to Good Guys or some show. I fell in love with it by that one shot. I am a big fan of the painted smoothy, moon n white wall look. Your truck sits right with the right color and all. It's got that late fifties look goin on. Being in my 50's I appreciate the look. Thanks for joining and don't be a stranger. Oh and we're interested in the Blazer rod too.

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

Awesome looking truck, I like both wheel setups but I think the billets fit the look of the truck a little better with all the billet inside. I'd still make a spot for it my garage without complaining though.

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

I like the billet wheels in the first picture! Trucks lookin great, id like a little more info about seat. I like how it has the curvature and looks quite a bit more comfortable then the plain ole bench!

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

No Jory, I have not done the air ride. I will take it to you one of these days. Been working on Matt's truck, he got his permit.

I bought the seat frame and cushion from ISS (interior supply and services) in Houston, they have a lot of different designs. I think the web page is www.interiorsupply.com

Re: I want more pics of this truck!

We need to hook up and talk cars.
My 4x4 is almost done, and I just gave the 70 to Danny for body work and paint.

Our shop is behind Tasco, stop in sometime.
