WTB: Cheyenne Super glovebox door

I need a glovebox door with the chrome edge that matches the instument panel. Chrome must be good. Woodgrain/emblem condition does not matter.

I don't think this was a factory option...only aftermarket.

I have a door with the super emblem that is like mint, dark green; but no woodgrain or chrome trim...came out of a 72 C20, OE label on backside in excellent cond.

so is it supposed to be aluminum or chrome?
The only ones I've seen with aluminum colored edging was 67 / 68 trucks.

Some of the 71-72's cheyenne supers had a aluminum flat piece that mounts on the outside of the door and the woodgrain sticks on it.

After reading all of your replies it appears that the chrome is not original. Heres a link to a chrome one at The Truck Shop.

Probably what I need,to keep it near stock, is the aluminum trim. I can add it and a new decal to the door I have.

Thanks guys....

The chrome around the edge isn't but the aluminum center is original

The door had an applique- GM not me- attached to the door it's self the outer edge of the door was body color- only the applique was aluminum w/ woodgrain- and only supers had this- matched the woodgrained bezel. The Super emblem attached to the door with three studs through the applique into the door it's self and there is a difference in the 71 emble and the 72 emblem. The chrome outer edge of the gbox door was a 67-68 thing- it did not continue through 69.

Thanks Pickmup, I found it in an LMC catalog but it was the same price as the "plain" decal kit. I assumed that it was just cut a little smaller to fit inside the trim. I'm going to call them to be sure. Thanks for the tip.

I called LMC and they are telling me the 3-piece Cheyenne Super decal kit includes the metal plate for the glovebox. Its the same price as the Cheyenne kit without the plate. 14.95 at LMC. Chevyduty sells just the glovebox door decal with plate for 39.95. Something doesn't smell right but I called LMC twice and they swear it comes with the plate... I'll find out when it shows up.

As I expected, It does not come with the plate. After several "discussions" with LMC they have agreed to refund my money and shipping and let me keep the decals. They admit that customer service is not "technical" and they have to request answers to part related questions and give the warehouse and technical staff time to respond.
