Multiple 67-72 parts boards? Maybe time to setup sub-boards?

Things move VERY quickly through the parts board these days... I mean an item is listed and off in lala land within a matter of an hour or two. I am not saying everything has to be up front, and of course people can search, but MAN the threads move very quickly here, and I think a lot of good deals get overlooked?

What about-

67-72 general parts
67-72 chassis/suspension
67-72 body and interior

Not too much... Just something to slow the flow down a bit for better visibility. Am I wrong?

I agree. And how about a "truck for sale "

I think this board is the best, but if anyone is looking for suggestions, perhaps one for parts for sale, another for WTB....also like the trucks for sale idea.

I agree too. I don't have too much time to spend on the computer anymore & it would make it a heck of a lot easier than searching through 6-8 pages of ads...

At this time it would be a lot of work for the mods and I to watch. Having more then one general area also tends to confuse people and create more unnecessary problems. Adding extra sub-forums for each parts area would also create a larger load on the search function.

No problems here. I usually always find what i'm looking for.
If you don't see it throw a WTB out there. there are lots of board members that have spare parts lying around and they just don't list them. Give it a try, I usually get a reply within 48 hours but usually under 24.

i wouldn't mind having a seperate place for engine and drivetrain stuff. stuff that doesn't neccesarily have to be for 67-72. like motors, trannys, intakes, carbs, ect..

Change is like when you go out drinking and the wife moves the furniture while you're gone.....

Remember the pathway you followed coming in drunk so she wouldn't hear you.....

Even though I like it the way it is, it would be cool to have a "Misc. Stuff for Sale" section. This would allow board members to sell some stuff that they might have lying around that is not truck related to other board members.

Just a thought.
