1977 pickup headers should work on a 85 Right?

Im pretty sure they are all the same for squares? I am ready to pull the trigger on some stainless steel headers from ebay. but this ad goes to 77.. others ads go to 91 but cost most. Yes Im trying to save a buck if they are exactly the same lol.

Not to sound like and ass but the difference is only $5.88? That's not even a gallon and a half of gasoline. being a little too cheap.... maybe? Let me put it to you this way, buy the 77 headers and they don't fit who's to blame? You! no hope of returning them. buy the correct listed ones and they don't fit you have more ability to return them by Ebay rules and paypal if you use that means to purchase. Both will or should back the buyer under that condition. again I am in no way trying to insult you or be an ass here.

In all reality they should fit the frames and cab are basically the same. My guess would be that the differnce would be due to emissions. 70's trucks generally didn't have the air tubes on the manifolds and most of the 80's pre tbi trucks I've seen due. So basically they will probably bolt on and work but there would be no provision for the smog equipment.

I can agree with what your saying. I thought the same thing as you. With all my research, they are selling that same header at different prices and with different years(same header).

I bought mine yesterday. I will post a thread of quality and fitment within the next 2 weeks.

Great! It's always good to pass on to the rest of us the details of thing like header fitment etc. I hope they just drop in for you.

The only difference I see is one may have provisions for extra clearance for a manual clutch.
