(another) Window Seals Question (Need Help)
Hello everyone,
I know there are tons of posts on window seals. I'm more of a picture guy so does anyone know of a good link or direct to a thread that has some pcitures to direct me? I tried taking out the rubber that the window slides in between on the door but the stinking tabs beat me. Also, I loosened the vent window assembly but could not get it free until I removed the rubber from the window. I'm afraid what will happen when I take the window out and replace the channel rubber. Please help!

I'm about ready to do the same. Check these out and see if they help.

Re: (another) Window Seals Question (Need Help)
This was a huge help! I did add a drop of black adhesive at the start and the corners to hold the felt in place. New door seals and channels makes a huge difference, no more rattle and it's getting a lot quieter in the cab. I replaced the door locks while I was at it. Now I can open either door with a key (same). I replaced the sill plates. I went with the Brothers instead of LMC. I think they are a higher quality product.

Re: (another) Window Seals Question (Need Help)
I just did my passanger door on Saturday...should have looked at the steps one more time before heading out to the truck. I installed the new stripping before replaceing the vent assembly and ended up deforming my new outside wiper. It seems to fit the door side ok, but there is still a decent gap between the window and the rubber. Is it touching for you guys? I got my set from Classic Parts if it matters any.

I got new wipers from LMC and it barely touches the window. Not enough to seal really. Someone else mentioned that the doors may have spread apart?
I'll eventually take it apart again but it is on the low priority list right now. |

My door seals are tight and no gaps all the way around.
