Shop buddies

One of our members recently posted he had lost one of his furry pals. In honor of that and all our shop pals, post a photo, current or not, of your shop buddies.

Re: Shop buddies

Not really a shop dog but one of the best pheasant dogs we've ever had. She went to the big pheasant field about 10 years ago. She was truly a great dog to hunt behind. If she flushed a rooster and I missed she would look back at me with a look of what the heck?
All of our hunting dogs are house dogs.

Re: Shop buddies

Nice guy! Keep it going. BTW, shop buddies is just a general term. They can just be your buddy, and it doesn't have to be just dogs.

Molly Dawg is my constant side kick no matter what I'm doing. We got her at 8 weeks to the day old.

She is now at almost 3 years old 40 lbs of muscled up, bow legged spring steel.

Re: Shop buddies

Willow is tied with Maggie, the dog we had before her, as my favorite dogs I’ve ever had. Maggie was mut, I had to put her down my self after I found her on the ground convulsing at 8 human years old. That’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Willow is not a mut she’s a full German Shepherd, but she is a nut. We’ve had her since 6 weeks, she’s a little over two now. They both were/are so good with the kids and in general the best furry friends we could ever ask for.

I agree. With a thick double coat, our old wolfdog (https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=855429 post #12) shed more than any critter I knew of. Hair all over the back yard, and he spent a lot of time indoors. It took a lot of vacuuming to try to keep up. After 2 1/2 years, I still miss him and wish he was back with us. He could be quite a challenge..... but what an experience.

I have finally got my Wife trained.

I know (That is a Big Whatever)

I always give Dolly a treat when I get home from work.

I have Ever since she was born.

My Wife is Jealous of why she Bonds with Me.

I have started a New pattern,
Handing My Wife a Twist Treat that is different than what she gets when I arrive home after work.

This has Really helped with My wife bonding with Her.

She has changed how my Wife thinks abouts Animals.

No joke. Willow sheds so much, we keep her in a kennel at night inside the house. It has to be vacuumed daily or the fur really builds up fast. It’s all worth the work though. It was a real blast when she figured out she could jump the back fence and chase the neighbors sheep around lol. She didn’t hurt any of them, it was just a game to her.

Re: Shop buddies

Love the dogs, cats not so much.
Word to the wise: With house pets change the furnace filters often. Pet hair will work it's way through the even good filters and lodge itself in the A coil and eventually block the air flow. I found our home had not been taken care of well enough and due to reduced air flow, I finally removed the coil to scrub and pressure wash it off. Worked for hours and did not get it all. Of course I had to have the system charged again.
