Found A 71 For Sale
I found a pretty original blue '71 Custom 10 lwb with a 250 for sale. Very nice shape, only two-three major rust points. Two in bed and the driver's rocker panel. Truck was even under water during Katrina, but owner must have cleaned it up real good afterwords, cause the rust would be showing by now. The 250 has NOT been cranked since the flood, and the prior owner put some diesel in it to dry it out. Needs to be drained and checked. PM me for the VIN# if you're interested. He's asking $700 obo for it. I'll try to get some pics up. Truck is located west of Mobile, AL.
P.S. I would be willing to store it for someone for awhile. Also, if enough people need parts and I see a profit coming, we might work something out. (Retirement pay is not the same as active duty pay  )Hate to see a really decent truck get parted though. I believe the 250 in it is original. Again, I'll try to post pics soon.
