3 Generation Rebuild

Well It has begun. My dad, my son and I started tearing into it this past weekend. Not sure if anyone is interested in following the build, but I thought I would photograph the process and put it on the board. The engine compartment is just hideous and driving me crazy. Since it was driving me crazy, out comes the motor and the madness begins. The engine (350 4 bolt main) was leaking oil and just looked terrible. The plan is for a daily driver which will be extremely reliable (and pretty). The block is blue and I haven't looked up the numbers to see what year it is yet. It will soon be Chevy orange. I already have the new 4x4 cam, lifters, timing chain and springs. Ordered a new Edelbrock 600 carb and performer intake. We are doing work on the weekends and after I get off work. This project would be impossible without my dad and son. I will be cleaning up the bay and using Por 15 on a lot of the stuff. I met fellow board member C/10 King yesterday and bought some buddy buckets from him. Very nice guy and he only lives about 2 miles from my house.
