Cool TBI Intake

Started working on the old suburban big plans for him... anywho I was wondering if anyone knows off hand the size pipe plug to shut off the threaded hole on the passenger side on the intake manifold by the distributor.

As always thanks for your time and help, it is greatly appreciated.

Re: TBI Intake

If the hole is tapered, i.e., larger at the surface, and smaller diameter at the depth of the hole, it's almost certainly pipe thread. There's a limited number of sizes of pipe thread. 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, etc. You should be able to find the actual diameters listed online somewhere.

Re: TBI Intake

It's always helpful when somebody pops back on and says what worked. Good luck with that motor. Lots of guys don't care for them, but I have had very good luck with mine.
