4L60E trans question
I just installed a used 4L60E from a 2003 Tahoe into my 2001 Yukon XL, do I need to do anything with the computer or will it relearn itself by driving it. I have a scanner but I don't know if it resets the Taps and I took it for a test drive and it seems fine.

Re: 4L60E trans question
it will be fine worst case unhook your battery for like 30 mins and it will wipe everything in it and it will do its own relearn

Re: 4L60E trans question
DO NOT reset the adaptive learning on a used transmission. You ONLY reset them when a freshly overhauled transmission is shifting hard.

Re: 4L60E trans question
Ok, thanks, the battery was disconnected for a week whilst I was doing it so wanted to make sure.
