My new interior

Just finished the new interior. Before I had a 60-40 from a '97 Silverado, but I like buckets, and I like a real console. The carpet needed upgrading, The truck didn't have a headliner or door panels, and it was like riding in a steel drum, as you are all aware. I got a pair of old '75 seats, I believe, and a console from Tom Korinek here in Mesa ... he also ordered up my carpeting for the floor, lower doors, and rear cab wall ... thanks Tom. Clint Valdez in Queen Creek stitched up the interior for me. Just this morning I sprayed and installed the arm rests, the last touch, for now. I'm not a stock guy; I want my vehicles to reflect my tastes, not those of a faceless designer somewhere, so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. But I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

I like that! I like the fact it's factory looking but not. What's your plan for seat belts?

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thank you ... and look closely at the second and third pics ... they are 3-point and tannish and sorta go with the interior.

Re: My new interior

Where did you get the seats?

As thats about what I want for my setup. Seats that do not go above the rear window and having a nice center console.

Very nice interior!

Congrats!!

Re: My new interior

I like the door pull/armrests my 68 has those HUGE clunky looking things. I was thinking of doing Pull straps like the old Caddy's had with the chrome ends on them with no armrest but I like those a lot!

They are 1972 armrests ... originally black, but I SEMed them the same color as I did the console.

Beautiful interior! I just have one suggestion. I would put screw caps and paint them the same color as the interior on the screws along the bottom of the door panels.

Re: My new interior

Looks clean and flows nicely, have you thought about picking up acouple chrome strips for the top of your door panel's just a thought and a way to add more chrome!
Nice color combo!
