Carburetor Question

HELP!! My carb took a crap on me this AM, I found this Holley on CL here:http://pensacola.craigslist.org/pts/2428824683.html

Will this carb fit my 327 with a manual trans? The ad says it came of a 427, but I guess it really depends on the intake manifold right? I have an edelbrock performer intake, can someone please answer if this will fit or at least tell me what to look for to see if it will fit? Thanks!

Re: Carburetor Question

Do you know what CFM it is? You should be between a 500-600 cfm range.

He said it was a 600 or 650, so it is the right cfm but how can i tell if it will bolt up to my intake manifold?

Talking Re: Carburetor Question

This is just me....
I would never buy a use carburetor unless it was for nostalgia or trying to keep the truck original as possible.

I agree, I am just going to bite the bullet and get a new carb, I do not want to buy someone elses problem...

Sounds good! A Edelbrock Performer 600-cfm Carb or a Holley 600 cfm 4-bbl Carburetor would be good for that 327.
