1972 K10 Disabled Veteran First Build
Hello everyone!!! Semper Fi!!! I am green as can be when it comes to restoring a vehicle and I need all of the guidance, wisdom, sarcasm, jar head jokes I can get. When it comes to using a forum such as this and starting a thread I am just as green as well. So green that I can't even figure out how to post pictures of what I am working with. I believe its a good start and I got it at the best price, free. (My ex walked out on my daughter and I in 2012. As a part of the divorce I was given her Dodge Ram quad cab which I traded for my K10.)
Currently I am recovering from a total hip replacement and preparing for a second. To keep me positive and busy during my recovery I decided what could be more rewarding than working on the truck. It runs great and I will post the description of what the previous owner did to the truck. I am the third owner. I am looking at building a solid, strong, impressive truck that will last and conquer any task I put before it. Taking it hunting, fishing, maybe a local show, and blowing the doors off anyone needing their doors blown off. I hope this is a good start and I look forward to getting to know everyone. I am going to primarily use my iPhone to post pictures. If I knew how that would be great? I know you would enjoy pictures over my typing. Thanks.
