advice on 72 Cheyenne Super

THere are two trucks a guy has that I have a chance on. ONe is a 72 3/4 ton with a bad 402 trubo 400 coil spring rear, ps,pb no air and tilt. He wants $800 he will give it to me for $500 without the tilt.
The other is a 72 camper special Cheyenne Super with everything but tilt and tach. It has bad paint and the 402 big block is shot but rebuildable as far as I know, has no bumper or grille and only rust in one rocker. He is thinking on his price for that. Is that Cheyenne a really big deal?

IMO, the Cheyenne's are slightly more desirable for stock restorations because they had more options available on them and command more $$ resale... again, if generally stock. If your plans are to customize, then buying a Cheyenne probably isn't worth it.
