parting out 99 silverado extended cab - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I recently purchased a running 1999 silverado extended cab from my brother in law solely for the engine and trans to be removed, gone thru, and put into my 1970 c10. Hes had the truck since new. Its an arizona truck and the only thing physically wrong is he was backing up and backed into something on the passenger bed side and it dented it in. After i pull the engine and trans, I'd like to part the rest of the truck to help recoup my costs as we all know we have budgets! What is the best way, best website to post etc to help in the process? sorry if it sounds like a silly question.

Well I know someone will buy those Batman floor mats!
I use craigslist, but you have to deal with scammers and no-shows.
My son likes Facebook marketplace. But I don't Facebook.

Too bad you're all the way across the country.
The rust-free complete body and chassis would still bring a grand up here.

Offerup app is the main source here in Vegas. We don’t use Craigslist as much. I actually look at the Phoenix offerup often since it’s a simple drive for parts.

Since you are a subscribing member you can post it in our classifieds area also. Today, I do not know what is the best site to do that with. I still have good luck down here with craigslist and some luck with Facebook.

Up here in Maine, Facebook marketplace and my local drag racing groups are how I parted out my Yukon. Made just about enough to offset the cost of the harness and PCM for my swap, and mine was all rust.
