will a 77-79 grille fit on my 74??? it has the place for the hood latch just curious...

You will have to cut the center bar out since the 73-74's had the latch centered and the 75-up are offset.

so if i bought an aftermarket 77 chevy grille and i cut the center bar it would fit? i can get it new for $16.95 from my local auto body parts store...

the mounting holes are in different spots on the grille.... what do i do? drill holes in the grille to mount it???
