Intake spacer question

So I have an aftermarket (Weiand) INTAKE with a spacer on it. The issue I'm having is that the spacer puts my throttle cable at an awkward angle which makes my gas peddle go from nothing to everything in a hurry. This is a problem with my 4 speed manual.

So, do any of you guys know of anyone that makes a bracket to raise the position of the throttle cable? Something that will go around the back of the carb just to lift it a little?

Have any of you guys encountered this problem? Here's a pic of my throttle cable -
