how rare are 3 door burbans?

I was at the "pick-a-part" in Monrovia/elmonte Ca. and noticed a 3 door suburban, pretty complete in the trucks section. it had no interior, or drivetrain. and the passenger side was wrinkled up, but it was almost all there body wise, and not much floor rust either. Just seemed like a shame to have it rot away there.
I'm not sure of how rare they are, but I sure dont see too many around.

Not as rare as a 4 door.

Seriously, there are still quite a few out there. before I found mine, I hardly ever saw one on the road. But now I see more and more of them. Still not as many as the trucks. If it is in good shape it would be worth getting for parts. thee are some things that were Burb specific and can fetch a nice penny. otherwise, not really rare enough to go drop dimes on.

is it correct that 1968/69/70/71 and 72 suburbans have 3 doors? Or onley 1970 and 71/72?

before 1967 = 2 door.
1967 - 1972 = 3 door.
1973 and later = 4 door.
