Looks like a nice original truck, cool. What's that tied on the fuel line?

Re: Look what just landed in my parking lot

It is an older gentleman that owns it. They are magnets. I can remember years ago where some people claimed that magnetizing the gas as it flows through the gas line somehow gives it better gas milage.. I should probably remove them... WES

Cow pill magnets, bet they have been there for most of thirty years. Lots of hype and claims from the people that sold them. In the long run I think you could affect your mileage a lot more by turning the headlights on or off. Pure snake oil marketing.

Howevet it is a very nice truck and will make someone really happy.

Re: Look what just landed in my parking lot

I know someone who spent real American money on a hydrogen generator for his Volvo. The ad promised 20% increased gas mileage... but it didn't do anything besides lighten his wallet. Go figger. I'll never understand how people continue to believe in bs back-of-the-magazine ads for THE INCREDIBLE SECRET DISCOVERY. Then again, this same dude started wearing magic crystal bracelets that his moon-howler wife said would make him stronger, smarter and keep him from getting cancer... or something like that.

http://www.hydrogencarsnow.com/hydro...ators-cars.htm

If he'd only put on the moon-howler bracelet first, he would've been smart enough to not buy the H2 generator.

Re: Look what just landed in my parking lot

The funny thing about the running boards is, I sold another 72 Super that had a set on it. The person that bought the truck decided they wanted them back on. WES
