About to pull the trigger on this beautiful 71 cab

I have been looking for a replacement cab for my 69 since the day i bought it. I purchased my 69 in El Paso while i was stationed at Ft. Bliss and the cab is just gone as far as rust goes. Found this cab on CL and went to see it. GREAT condition!

That looks to be a pretty pristine cab (and the rest of the truck for that matter) Good find. Now get that sucker home.

Re: About to pull the trigger on this beautiful 71 cab

Lol, I was pretty happy when I seen it, as I had chased down another that was said to be "rust free". Turns out rust free meant that it had some rusted out rocker panels, but he had replacements already purchased. It was also said to be a 69 AC cab, and turned out to be a 71 non AC cab. After that, I was a little leary about checking this one out but it turned out to be a Chevrolet gold mine. Also has the original air cleaner in the bed that i'll be picking up as well. I guess every once in a while a deal can still be had.

It was only 500. Doors, column, gauges, radio, gas pedal, gas tank, seat belts, and a brand new dash pad included. Even the original jack was in it, kind of a nice touch. Going to POR15 the surface rust on the lower kick panel edge, and all inside of the fresh air vents for good measure. Couldn't ask for a better deal!
