Any board vendors sell Painless??
I just want the 12 circuit kit, seems like everyone sells the 18 circuit kit but all I need is lights, engine, heater, and radio. I'll use the 18 circuit kit if it's the only thing available, but I don't want to pay 500 bucks for the one that LMC sells.

Was that a universal kit or was it for 67-72 Chevy trucks?

It was for the 67 - 72, I stripped some stuff out of it for mine, but was a nice setup just the same, also ordered the dash guage kit being I am going with all Autometer guages and billit dash setup..

Randy I got the one for the 67 at the auto zone up the street from the car show. You can go up on the painless site and see what any type of harness will cost. Kerry

I just bought the 18 circuit for 67-72, and did my new 72 project truck on a long weekend. I highly recommend it.
I would keep shoping for prices because I bought the 18 circuit set in Canada locally in Calgary for $397 Canadian. That is alot less than $325 U.S., and it is the 18 circuit set. It had electric fuel pump wire, two radio leads - one switched and one constant, etc. Beautiful set up. Had all the wiring for HEI and internally regulated alternators, as well as the points style wiring and external regulator alterator and ballast resistor as well.

Anyone here ever use a Ron Francis wiring kit? I've heard they're nicer than the Painless stuff.....?

give this guy a email. wirewerks@earthlink.net. he gets his stuff from the same distributer as painless but sells them for a fraction of the price. tell him what you want and he`ll build it to your specifications. i`m going to order from him as soon as i get off my ass and measure how much wire i need. his kits come standard with 6' but can make them any length you need. they are universal harmesses but they are gm color coded.

I just got the new jegs catalog in and they have them for $309.99
for the 67-72 trucks. But the EZ-Wiring looks like a good deal. Does anyone have any experience with the EZ-Wiring? |
