new turn signal harness

I'm replacing the turn signal/haz/ harness in the steering hub. I've pulled the wheel and see that I have to have a puller to get the actual hub off, so I can get the harness out. Any suggestions on how to get it off without buying a puller,,,,easy way, maybe, to make one?,,,,,thanks for any input.

Re: new turn signal harness

Take a little screwdriver or scribe and run it around the bottom of the shroud where it meets the column and run it around that joint several time that will help it loosen then you can pull up on the upper shroud and it will work itself loose. I have pulled several and never used anything special. jim
