I like that. Even better Griffin is made in the USA. Thanks for sharing that.

I've got a Griffin in my Jeep and it works great. I bought a universal with the hose connections in the right place and welded some angle aluminum on the sides to mount it. Added a electric pusher fan from the local Ford dealer that they use on Crown Vic squad cars that sit and idle for long periods. Keeps the temp right where it should be in 100 degree plus days crawling through the rocks with no issues.

What rad hoses are you planning to use. Same with trans lines. I'm at the same cross roads determining which rad to buy and hoses/lines to connect everything.

Was it complete with the shroud and fans, too? I was leaning toward using my stock radiator and shroud, but may go this route for the price.

Yes it came with shroud fans and relays. I called Griffin and the quote was quite a bit higher than Summits price, so I crossed my fingers and ordered it. I'm quite pleased with what arrived at my door. Hopefully Summit doesn't change the price. The rad alone is 390.00 http://www.summitracing.com/search?k...70013-ls&dds=1

Re: Just got my LS rad check it out

Is this part number GRI-CU-70013-LS from Summit? I'm hoping so, because that is what I have ordered and it's scheduled to be delivered today! Looks sweet from your pictures.

Edit: Nevermind, I saw where you listed the part number above, and I just missed it. I didn't understand how they have things priced either, but I'm glad it worked out well.

Looks like a great deal. Can you post pictures of how it mounts once you get the new 4 Core hold downs? Thanks

Have you tried mocking up with 4 row radiator mounts yet? I have some headed this way, but they haven't came in yet. Just curious of the fitment.

Re: Just got my LS rad check it out

I recently checked with Entropy Radiator and they make a similar setup. They didn't have my '57 Chevy pickup listed so I emailed them. They do make one for my application and the cool part is they will set it up for a LS motor with the inlet, outlet, and transmission cooler connections in the right size and placement. The pricing was similar.

Any updates on the fit? Any modifications required on the radiator support? Looking to purchase a unit but getting info is hard. Any help.

Re: Just got my LS rad check it out

Got mine installed last weekend using the 4 row mounts. Just some slight trimming on the rubber bushings and a quarter inch spacer under the top mounts.

Re: Just got my LS rad check it out

I like it Jason. So the bottom fit in okay, or some trim needed?
Is that the steam line beneath the upper hose?

I replaced the bottom retainers/rubbers with the 4row as well, and had to trim the rubber pieces a little on both the bottom and top. You're correct, that is the steam line below the upper hose.
