Dropped axle and cross steer

I have a 50 3100. I have mid 80's power steering conversion which has all been working well. I have now installed a Sids 4" dropped axle with one leaf taken out. All went well except now the steering arm is higher than I would like as during a left turn and a bump there is a chance of the tierod end nut contacting the power steering shaft universal. One of the ways would be to get a dropped steering arm as I only need about 1.5 inches. The other is to do a cross over steering system. The position of the power steering box lends it's self to the cross over nicely.
So the post is has anyone done the cross over steering on a non 4x4 and what parts did you use?

Re: Dropped axle and cross steer

Sorry, I don't know the answer but how was Sid's to deal with? I am considering their dropped axle. Stupid question: If you use their dropped axle AND their lowering springs is it cumulative? I mean can you get 5-6" of drop total? And I wonder if its safe.

Re: Dropped axle and cross steer

When I got mine Sid was backed up so it took quite awhile for it to come. When it finally came he uses pay pal and the one and only time I used it my account got hacked and charges were made but my bank got it fixed. The axle seems to be fine and Sid is easy to get ahold of and returns messages right away. I used the 4" drop and one leaf and it looks like I am down 5".
