windshield wiper motor, etc

I have been trying to figure out why I have a 2nd button on floorboard near the dimmer switch. I was told today that it was for the wipers and that you press it to either make the wipers go or to squirt the fluid. Unclear as to which. Anyone know? I seem to have a switch on the dash to operate them and it has a button in the center, which I'm guessing squirts the fluid. Of course I have no fluid holding tank and no clue if the motor works, so it's all a guessing game for me.

My original understanding is that the 1960 Suburbans didn't come with a spray feature, but alas mine appears to. Is that original or added? Where can i find an original looking tank? Any 60's-70's C10? I was just at a salvage earlier and didn't even to look for that in the few late 60's/early 70's that they had, but hitting another one tomorrow...
