Help! I need a rubber bed mat for 67 SWB - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Where can I find someone who makes them ? I ordered one from Advance Auto and turns out it was for a 67-87. I asked specifacally if it was for a 67-72 and he said yes. Well of course it does not fit, the fender wells are about 4" bigger all the way around on the mat. I have looked for these before and did not have any luck,anybody know who makes them ? I was told that you can cut down a mid 80's Ford SWB to fit pretty good, anybody know ? Thanks

i have one in my 68 LWB and it fits good, and i threw in in my buddys 81 LWB and it fit in there too just as good

The fender wells on 67-72 are much smaller than on the 73-87 trucks,it also has a cut-out for the gas tank filler on both sides in the front part of the mat.I guess nobody makes one for 67-72 trucks. I will have to find where I can purchase some rubber mat material and make my own.

Check out some of the tire stores. Some sell mats that are made from tire grindings.

It was made for a fleetside but it had lines to cut for a stepside. Not sure who made it I want to say Rubbermaid.

Well I could have made the one I bought work for a stepside. There are no inner fenders, just a rectangle. Oh well thanks anyway

At one time I worked in a conveyor belt plant. we cut all kinds of belt - thick to thin & wide to narrow (up to 1/4 mile long). Why not cut your own bed mat? Talk to your local conveyor belt guys & give em your bed measurements. Something in a 4 or a 6 ply should be plenty & you can cut it easily with a sharp olfa knife.
