Air Dam install

I'm having a devil of a time getting in original air dam bolted to a new AMD front bumper. This is a link to the new bumper I just purchased.

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a...caAkNEEALw_wcB

The air dam was not installed when I bought the truck, it was in the bed. I am not Sure how it bolts on. None of the bolt holes line up when I center the air dam. Does it bolt to the Bumper or core support? Also not sure where the ends of the air dam bolt to?
Does anybody have some pics of their install?
Thanks

Re: Air Dam install

These are the only shots I have of mine. The end piece slip over/under the bumper, while the middle pieces slip under the bumper There should be some J-clips in the bumper holes for the bolts to run thru (except for the end 2)

Re: Air Dam install

I thought the air dam was straight, and went from end to end?

Re: Air Dam install

I have a 86 c10 my air dam been gone a long time. I saved the bolts and capture nuts by leaving them in place, they, the bolts, go through holes the bumper. I'll take a picture if you want.

Re: Air Dam install

Ok, so the solution to this issue is that the air dam is not for a c10. We ran the part number through google and found it's for an S10!

So, just so one one else tries, the S10 air dam WILL NOT WORK!
GRRRRR!

Thanks for all the replies.
