Crap...cracked leaf springs
Well, I guess sitting since '84 has its drawbacks. My left leaf spring pack has started to crack right above the axle. I see where ECE sells drop springs...but for $400.. Anyone know where to get stockers or if anything else would work on it...like 73-up models? Or if anyone has a spare...

Re: Crap...cracked leaf springs
That's a bread and butter job for any local spring shop. Find one in your phone book. My local place fixes cracked leafs regularly. It happens more than you realize. Price will be way under ECE new spring prices too.

Re: Crap...cracked leaf springs
I just had a trailer spring (3500 pound) main leaf replaced at a local place for $25. Find one in the yellow pages, like Tx Firefighter said
