Exclamation CopperHead Project on TNN Trucks!

I just seen my first artical on TNN on the CopperHead project. Nice truck. It looks like they're using a new cab, but not for sure. I wonder what rear disks they used. I must have missed that show. I'd like to get some of them crossdrilled rotors.

Kind of dissapointed they didn't bag it though.

You know the sad thing is, is there is a very radical truck that a member here has built, and tore, down and is now reassembling that, would make the CopperHead look like a normal resto. It's a shame that it isn't on a show. You know his truck has the basic mods, IE carbon fiberfront clip, 904 Shubach motor, AWD, bags 20" etc...

Jeez...I just want my tired old 283 to quit smoking and last for the summer. It would be nice if it quit backfiring too...LOL! I guess we are world's apart! The only carbon fiber in my truck is the stuff falling out of the old spark plug wires...oops that is carbon dust...sorry.

i found a place where you can get a complete fiberglass cab ill try to find it again. fiberglass is not the same but it dont rust LOL

i forgot about them. i have know people who have used there hoods before. they did not like them they said, bad fit. you may want to ask around.

I'm pretty sure its an original cab, but I don't think its a 67 cab, i'm pretty sure its a 69 or up. Nobody I know makes a steel cab.

I'm not a big fan of that show. Good content, but I can't stand listening to Stacey chuckle at the end of every sentance.

He hasn't touched Copperhead in about a year. He still has to get moving on that Bronco too. I wish he'd finish what he started.

It seems there's just too much after-market bolt-on stuff for the high-volume late-model trucks to plug lately. (Is that enough dashes in one sentence for you?)

I finally gave up out of frustation and quit watching that show. It could be a good show if they would lose that giggling idiot and replace him with somebody who knows what they're doing, then do a project from start to finish without skipping around all over the place. Maybe somebody like efabman doing his metal working magic. I'd watch that for sure.

Yea, I think it would be better if he worked on one truck until it was finished instead of skipping around one week working on the bronco, the next on copperhead, etc.

Trucks was better when mel was on there he seemed to keep stacey from talking. YEah I wish he would just do one project at a time. I believe the cab is from a 69 and up. wish I could have the expensse account he has. Just mention the sponsors name and bang it yours.

ol skool 68 I believe he's posted pictures of the carbon fiber front clip before, but he told me that his sponsers won't allow him to show his truck before the first SEMA show apearance.

I agree that sometimes Trucks TV jumps around a bunch. I doubt it's Stacys choice though. But truth is I really don't watch much TV anyway. And I really don't mind who does the show because I'm not listening much anyway. Just looking at the trucks! LOL I think that whaky women they have on there should go first anyway. Can't stand her voice.

It seems to me that the more shows that Stacey does on his own, the less goofy/fake laughing he does. I'm willing to believe that it's just nerves and to me he's a much higher choice on my list for hosts than some of those "other" shows.

I watch that show but God I hate that woman! She add NOTHING to the show. My dad used to do resto stuff for My Classic Car and it was nice to see actual how to stuff. Now it seems all those shows are for aftermarket stuff and selling. I don't see much that has anything to do with an actual resto. Plus Stacey is a giggling idiot. I wish there was still some good how to stuff that the actual restoration guys could learn from instead of unlimited budgets and bolt on stuff.

i just bought a 72 chevy c10 with a 350 out of a 72 chevelle that used to have a screwed up piston and a turbo 350... its all rusted to hell but i got it for 800... pictures when i get it home.

I believe it is the orginal cab. I also hate the jumping around but I do believe it is because he does not do his own body work on his projects so they have no choice but to jump around while bodywork is in progress. What I would like to see more of is just what the price is of some of this stuff as he is doing it. They say it is a 67 but its been so damn long ago I cant remember if the body was actually a 67 or not.

Yeah I have been watching Trucks also..dont find him as annoying as some of you guys, but now probably will. I think they jump around between projects to keep all the viewers in mind, not just the ones who want to see copperhead..though I wish they would not do that. Did you notice on yesterdays show he did not mention the price of the front brake set up they used...we just know its more than the early classics one.
