H pipe...experience?

I am thinking about adding an H pipe to my truck. I did a little searching on the site and see that they equalize pressure, give a little better sound, and can smooth out the idle a little bit. I also know that they are supposed to increase HP and Torq...is there anyone out there with before and after experience? Can you feel it? Does it do anything to MPG?
