I don’t understand why you want your truck to ride rougher than stock?
I am looking for ways to make my old truck ride softer not harder.

Re: Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex system

i dont have them on my c20 but i do have them on my 89 camaro. they work great, ride is a little rougher then stock but the bushings will last longer then the truck will. i would say go for it.

thats really not the case. the greased poly bushings give a much smoother ride. they just dont flop around.

Re: Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex system

Thanks nheller and moose...i'll be lowering the ole girl 4&6 with belltech components as well as some other suspension mods and to me it just makes sense to switch to poly...just wanted to hear from those who've done it....

I highly recommend the poly cab mounts..mine were all rotten and falling apart...now it's nice and tight!

Re: Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex system

I did the WHOLE TRUCK on my 85. I did make it ride firmer, more control, no body roll. I don't think it was STIFFER but was firmer, if that makes any sense. I am going to do it again with this 87 but will get the graphite impregnated bushings.

Re: Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex system

I personally like the ride with the POLY bushings. More control, less body roll
