dash swap

Heres a few pics of dash swap i am working on in my 91 dually....little background on it...i hopped in my dually few weeks ago to run to town and the hood blew up and busted my windshield and bent/busted my dash pad and metal dash so instead of tryin to straighten out my metal and track down another crank free dash pad i decided to do a dash swap....went to the junkyard and decided on a 1962 Impala SS dash....took some work but she is in and painted....just gotta run about a millon more wires and hook up my gauges....imabout to swap to buckets and build a console to mount the gauges that are currently in the glovebox(cant see them from driver seat very good) and my radio as i kept the original impala radio in the dash

Widened it 7 inches

Mocked up....had a pretty big gap to fill in on this end

Capped ends

After about 10 hours of building patch panels and some bondo work

And torch red

Re: dash swap
