Results of work on oil pump
I dropped my pan and put in a new oil pump. Simple and easy just messy. I checked the main bearings and they look really good. I put on a new K&N oil filter and the Fel-Pro one piece gasket. I love that gasket! It made it sooo easy!
Results: My oil pressure went up slightly. It did help then. It *may* have stopped my oil leak!!!!!!!!!!!!  That would be awesome! I have only had it put back together for a couple hours, so we'll see. I forgot to put those pan "strengthening" strips, but it doesn't seem to matter.

cool hope this buys ya time on the motor.. thsoe strength strips dont have to be there but they help make the gasket last longer

One piece gaskets are the best. Did you replace your rear main seal while you were there?

I hope you replaced the timing cover seal while you had it apart, and used a seal saver on the balancer !!!

No on the rear main & timing cover. It will be fine. NO LEAKS!!! I'm thrilled!
