Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
Nice K5. Were did you get your front 4x4 decals for the front hubs? They are smaller than the back. Yours look awesome.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
I took the back decals and cut them to size since they don't make the hub decals.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
Thanks, I just ordered some from LMC. My passenger side seat did the same thing, cracked almost exactly like that.
I guess all the vibration and movement over the years.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
I'm sure that truck is happy to have met you, you're doing a good job bringing it back around to it's original condition.

Anybody know anything about the center console lock/latch. Mine will not latch and I can not figure out how to get it to latch any tips appreciated!

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
If the console lid is ever slammed shut, the latch mechanism in the lid will break, hate to admit I know this. You may be able to get one from LMC or Classic Parts, then take it to a lock smith and he can make it match your door key like it is supposed to. I did that with the rear window crank on my '79.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
if you take something like a toothpick and push the latch hook toward the lid does it ever catch or just swing free. if it just swings free the latch is broken. it happens all the time as they are made out of cheap pot metal. only fix i know of is buy another from a salvage yard

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
Keep those stock bullet-holes on. Dont see them often. I personally like them much better than rallys.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project
I regret selling my factory aluminum wheels. They have that factory style you just don't get with anything else.
