It's a private residence, not a business. He's an eccentric old guy. You have to establish a rapport with him or he will speak in grunts. He wouldn't speak to me until I went back in my truck. He knows his stuff too.

He may be like a guy around here. Has a truck sitting in plain sight where it has been sitting and rotting for 30 years but gets his jollies telling people it isn't for sale under any circumstances. Just because it is there doesn't mean it can be bought.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

He did admit to me "I'll probably never get around to fixing it up" so I think it could be bought. If I had a nickel for everytime I heard "I'm gonna fix that up some day" I'd be rich.

Then you probably saw the pre-war Ford cabs and beds and the '57 Chevy more door sedan. One Ford tailgate has a '63 Wyoming tag and the GMC has a '71 tag.
