Re: Color number and brand.

I don't remember seeing the truck on here. Your best bet might be to go out and cruise the new car lots and look for a car or truck with that blue or one that really spins your wheels on it and get the color off the window sheet.

My wife and I did that when we decided to paint the 48 the last time it was painted and found that the Porsche India red looked great out in the sunlight and under street lights.

That blue looks like it would really pop in either the daylight or under street lights at night or under lights in an indoor show.

You might check the PPG custom colors. If you hit a Goodguys show they usually have a booth with their paint samples on little body shells sitting out so you can see what the colors look like on something with shape to it.

I think this might be real close or just a shade darker. http://www.hotrodscustomstuff.com/OLD_SITE/bubba1.html

Looks like it might be a House of Color product. I can't remember seeing a stock car in that color.

a quick google search yielded that Ravenesque Images looks like a photographer out of Kansas City MO. Maybe hit him up on his facebook page and see if you can get in touch with the owner.

As soon as I say I have never... then it happens. Today saw a new smaller Dodge pickup with that electric blue color, truck had a commercial cap on it and looked brand new. Might check out your local mopar dealer...

Re: Color number and brand.

Saw a Mustang on the road today. The color was very similar to what you showed.

I believe it's called Kona Blue Metallic. Very sharp.

The Deep Impact Blue is very sharp too

Re: Color number and brand.

Chrysler has a color called Patriot blue that looks like that and has some pearl in it so it reacts to light changes nicely. Subaru has a nice blue on those crazy fast Impreza things too

Re: Color number and brand.

My old man had a Patriot Blue Town and Country. I believe it was a little darker than what they are looking for.

It was a great looking van when new. It popped in the sunlight.

The paint doesn't hold up well though, it kind of lost it's luster after a few years. It didn't pop so much.
