Not a GOOD Weekend
I started out changing my intake gaskets, because they were leaking on the passenger side pretty bad. While the camero bolts are all star heads with no way of retorquing them after everything is back on, so I decided I would change them out to regular bolt heads, well let's say it was interesting. The plenium tubes didn't want to go by the middle two bolts so I had to take them back out. I left the front passenger one out till I hooked the compressor back up, well guess what! I had to take the bolt out of the plenium so it would line up and start. Ok that's done so I'm going along and start on the destributor, I was tightening the coil back in and guess what! I broke it, I don't now why it broke but it snaped right off. Heat maybe, who knows. Ok I go get a new cap and I hook everything up so I thought, finish up add water do everything I thought. Start the thing up and nothing, so I try it again thinking the pump needs to fill up again. Never got it to crank so I do the look and see what was wrong. I didn't hook the hot wire and tack wire up. I fired it up and booooom, blew the mufflers slap off of the truck. My wife and kids are all out side behind the truck, needless to say they were suprised as me when it blew. It started though. Now I have a oil leak at the front where the oil sending unit is for the fuel pump. I guess I' not done yet. Enough, had to vent and rest a little bit.

LOL.... I did the same thing with the 12v wire to the dizzy. It was about 11:30 or so at night and the neighbors had to come see who died..... I ended up splitting a turbo muffler in half at the seam.

Things have to get better...
Well, so far so good everything is working now just have to get muffler's done today. Yea I wished I had my camera when the muffler's blew. My daughter took off like a cannon holding her ear's, her boyfriend was just laughing, he thought I did it on purpose to scare her.
I hope everyone has a good week.
